EUGENE CLARK TEACHES ANATOMY DRAWING TO ART STUDENTS AT WATERFORD MOTT HIGH SCHOOL

Artist and anatomist Eugene Clark taught anatomy
drawing to the art students at Waterford Mott High
School, Waterford, MI, Wed. December 12, 2012,
7:30am-2:30pm. The all-day intensive workshop
included an art history slide presentation featuring
the work of figure artists Rembrandt, Van Gogh,
Leonardo Da Vinci, & Picasso. Students created
anatomy drawings during the hands on lecture
drawing portion of the program. The last hour
provided an opportunity for the students to draw
from the live model.  The art students demonstrated
dedication and focus, and created excellent work.
Great job Waterford Mott Art Department!

ARTIST EUGENE CLARK PRESENTS AN ARTIST'S TALK AT THE ANTON ART CENTER, MT. CLEMENS, MI, THURSDAY, OCTOBER 11, 2012

Artist Eugene Clark will present an artist's
talk at the Anton Art Center, Mt. Clemens,
MI, Thursday, October 11, 2012, 6pm-7:30pm,
in conjunction with the "Oakland University
Faculty Exhibition".  Clark's will speak about
his new painting "Artis Anatomica #6".

ARTIST EUGENE CLARK INVITED TO EXHIBIT AT THE DOW ART MUSEUM, MIDLAND, MI, JANUARY 13, 2013

Artist Eugene Clark is invited to exhibit his
new anatomy themed paintings of his
"Artis Anatomica" series, at the Dow Art
Museum, Midland, MI.  Museum Director
& Curator Bruce Winslow, selected Clark's
work for the exhibit "The Anatomy of
an Idea: An Invitational Exhibition". The
exhibition will open January 12, 2013.

ARTIST EUGENE CLARK PRESENTS A LECTURE / WORKSHOP FOR "ARTS FIRST" CONFERENCE, AT OAKLAND SCHOOLS BLDG.

Artist Eugene Clark presented an anatomy
lecture demonstration titled "Anatomy made
simple" as part of the Arts First Conference,
at the Oakland Schools Building,
Oakland County, MI, August 27, 2012,
10am-11:30am. The lecture included video
footage of his recent mural commission at
Oakland University, his newly published
book "Eugene Clark Real Art", and a
drawing demonstration featuring anatomy
drawing. This is Clark's third year in a row
to be invited to present at this premier arts
conference in the state of Michigan.

ARTIST EUGENE CLARK TEACHES ANATOMY DRAWING AT LAKE ORION HIGH SCHOOL

Artist Eugene Clark teaches anatomy drawing to the advanced
art students at Lake Orion High School, September 18 & 20,
2012, under the direction of art teacher Melissa Wilson.
In this two day, six hour lecture, students cover the skull,
spine, rib cage, pelvis, and major muscles of the torso
and face.

ARTIST EUGENE CLARK: VIDEO OF CLARK PAINTING MURALS FOR THE OAKLAND UNIVERSITY HUMAN HEALTH BUILDING

Behind the scenes footage of artist Eugene Clark painting
three 12ft x 8ft, acrylic on canvas with the help of two OU
art students Maggie Larson, Tim Schalm, and his son Xavier, for
the new Human Health Building at Oakland University,
Rochester Hills, Michigan. The commissioned work is
scheduled for installation, August, 2012.

OAKLAND UNIVERSITY SELECTS EUGENE CLARK'S PAINTINGS FOR HUMAN HEALTH BUILDING

Oakland University, Rochester Hills, MI, selects 
artist Eugene Clark's paintings for it's new 
Human Health Building, (above).  The three 12 ft x 8 ft 
acrylic paintings from Clark's "Artis Anatomica" 
series, are commissioned to be completed by August 1, 2012.
The Human Health Building is slated to be
open to the public September, 2012.
