“Dian Cecht, Celtic God of Healing”, A Large-scale mural painting by Eugene Clark Artist

Dian Cecht is a prominent figure in Irish mythology, revered as the divine healer of the Tuatha Dé Danann, a supernatural race in Irish lore. Known for his profound knowledge of medicine and healing, Dian Cecht's stories are deeply interwoven with the history and legends of the Tuatha Dé Danann. His contributions to their victories and survival are legendary, underscoring the importance of healing and medicine in ancient Irish culture. This large mural painting includes the “spirals of Life” in each corner of the work. The Celtic Spiral of Life, also known as the Triple Spiral Knot or Triskelion, is a symbol representing the eternal cycle of life, death, and rebirth, and is often found in ancient Celtic carvings

This artwork is created with acrylic paint on canvas.  The spiral images that extend past the canvas, onto the wall, are created with clay, wire, and paint.
